One inch stands in for one foot.
At 1:12, a 30 cm skillet from a real kitchen comes out at 25 mm across — about the width of a ₹5 coin. It's small enough to lose in a pocket, which is why every order ships in a lidded pocket box with a foam bed and a printed size card.

About us
A small workshop in Agaramthen.
The Pocket Store began with one brass pan turned on a hobby lathe for a daughter's dollhouse. It's now a two-bench workshop in Chennai making miniature cookware for dollhouse builders, prop stylists and collectors across India and beyond.
Everything is spun, riveted and polished here — no moulds, no mass runs. If a piece leaves the bench a half millimetre off, it goes back on it.

Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every order placed with The Pocket Store, a sole-proprietor workshop at 3R, DAC Agaram, Agaramthen, Chennai – 600126, Tamil Nadu, India. Placing an order means you accept them.
Orders and pricing
Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST where applicable. An order is confirmed only once payment clears and we send a confirmation email. We may cancel and refund an order in full if an item is out of stock, a price is listed in error, or an address cannot be verified.
Handmade variation
Every piece is turned and finished by hand. Dimensions hold to ±0.5 mm and small differences in grain, polish and colour between pieces are expected, not defects.
Shipping
Orders leave the workshop within 48 working hours. Delivery timelines given by our courier partners are estimates; we are not liable for delays once a parcel is handed over. Import duties and taxes on international orders are the buyer's responsibility.
Returns and refunds
Unused items in their original pocket box may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Write to thepocketstoreco@gmail.com with your order number before shipping anything back. Return postage is yours unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover it and replace the piece. Custom, engraved and bulk return-gift orders are not returnable.
Damaged or missing parcels
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the parcel and contents, and we will replace or refund.
Safety notice
These are collectible miniatures containing small parts. They are not toys and are not suitable for children under 14. Please keep them away from small children and pets.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law, and disputes fall to the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version shown on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies.
Privacy policy
We collect only what an order needs: your name, delivery address, phone number and email, plus the payment confirmation returned by our payment gateway. We never see or store your full card details.
This information is used to process, pack and deliver your order, to answer your messages, and — if you subscribed — to send one email a month about new batches. Unsubscribe with the link in any email.
We share data only with our courier and payment partners, and where the law requires it. We never sell it. Records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, then deleted.
To see, correct or delete the data we hold on you, email thepocketstoreco@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
